As I sit here and try to wrap my head around the last 30 plus hours of events, I am reminded of God's promises. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. (1 Chronicles 16:34 NIV)
At 1:30am this Sunday morning the surgeons came in to tell us the recovery team found some pneumonia and the lungs were hardened and were no good. As my heart sank with disappointment and sadness, I was so thankful and knew that God was in control and this was in His hands. For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV). Looking back this afternoon and reading all the kind words, encouragement and prayers, I am humbled to my knees. Thank you will never be enough for me to say. I pray that I always glorify The Lord through this journey in my life and help others along the way.
With all my love,
